EBC Arizona High School 2023

Elite Basketball Circuit provides a platform to those serious players to be exposed to not just national media, earn some college interest but also allows the players to see the benchmark regionally. Our team has put together our top performers from the Phoenix-based camp, individual skill, 5-on-5 play, King of the Court all went into consideration for the awards.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMERS

Amani Bonds

Height: 6’5”

Class: 2025

School: Skyline Prep

Bonds averaged: 13 points per game 2.7 rebounds per game 1 3pt made per game

Amani was one of the most impressive players of the weekend. His combination of scoring ability (from all 3 levels of the court), ball handling, passing and defensive tenacity made Bonds stand out from the rest of the camp. He is a high level player with a ton of developmental upside who has a bright future in basketball. 

A’maree Davis

Height: 5’11”

Class: 2025

School: N/A

Davis averaged: 20.8 points per game 7.5 rebounds per game 5.3 assists per game

A’maree Davis is an impact player who stood out as soon as you watched him play. His ball handling ability, athleticism and quick first step help him get to the basket, where he can score using either hand. and put pressure on opposing defenses. He also has a shooting range that extends to the 3-point line, creating problems for defenders who need to decide if they are going to play up or give space to A’maree. Seperate from his scoring ability, A’maree is an excellent rebounder and has great court vision, as he constantly finds his teammates to set up high quality shots. 

Cobey Bucco

Height: 6’1”

Class: 2026

School: Mountain Pointe

Bucco averaged: 17.7 points per game 5.3 rebounds per game 3.7 3pt made per game

Cobey is an absolute monster on the court who is able to score at all three levels. He is a solid rebounder and shot blocker who uses his size well and makes a strong impact on the game. He can take the ball coast to coast with ease and makes the right decision whether it’s to score or dish it to an open teammate. 

Jaleel Moore

Height: 5’9”

Class: 2024

School: San Tan Charter

Moore averaged: 11.7 points per game 5.3 rebounds per game 5.3 assists per game 

Strong and athletic guard, ridiculous court vision and passing ability, uses size and speed to get to the basket, good touch around the rim, range extends to the 3 point line, really hard to guard going towards the basket, don’t settle for bad shots and learn how to impact the game without the ball in his hands

Nizir Cannady

Height: 5’10”

Class: 2027

School: Chandler Prep High School

Cannady averaged: 29 points per game 4.8 rebounds per game 3.5 assists per game 7 3pt made per game

Nazir was the most prolific scorer of the weekend, displaying a very polished and developed offensive arsenal. He can score on all 3 levels, including the ability to catch fire from 3-point range. His ball handling and athleticism also allows him to be dangerous creating his own shot off the dribble. Overall, Nizir is a major problem for opposing defenses. 

Kristian Del Rio

Height: 6’

Class: 2027

School: N/A

Del Rio averaged: 14.5 points per game 4.3 rebounds per game 1.5 3pt made per game

Kristian is an all-around, fundamentally stellar player with a good handle, solid 3 point shot, and active defender. He leads the fastbreak and controls the pace of the game well. He easily gets to the rim and can be counted on to finish.  

Kaden Gollhuir

Height: 6’1”

Class: 2025

School: Mountain Pointe

Kaden averaged: 22.3 points per game 5.3 rebounds per game 2 assists per game 1.3 3pt made per game

Kaden has a very polished offensive skillet and was one of the best offensive players in the camp. His scoring ability is well-rounded, demonstrating proficiency on all three levels of the court. He uses his size and athleticism to get by and shoot over defenders. His developed offensive skillset, combined with his aggressive scoring mentality, makes him a serious problem for opposing defenses to deal with. Kaden also played both sides of the court, constantly jumping in passing lanes to poke balls loose and force steals. 

Bobby Rodriguez

Height: 5’11”

Class: 2025

School: North Valley Christian Academy

Rodriguez averaged: 20 points per game 6.8 rebounds per game 2.8 assists per game 2.5 3pt made per game

Bobby is a patient, high IQ player who makes the right passes and plays the right way. He runs hard and gets out in transition, and can hit the 3 off the dribble easily. He crashes the board strong and can score on all 3 levels.

Tre Wilkins

Height: 6’

Class: 2027

Wilkins averaged: 15.5 points per game 6.5 rebounds per game 3.8 assists per game 2 steals per game

Tre had one of the more impressive camps of any player. Offensively, he has a refined skillset and can score from anywhere on the court, including range that extends beyond the 3-point line where he torched players all weekend. He is more than a scorer though, as his basketball IQ and court vision allows him to set his teammates up for quality looks. Lastly, he was a vocal leader for his team, displaying his leadership ability and commitment to playing the game the right way.

Rees Jones

Height: 5’10”

Class: 2027

School: N/A

Jones averaged:  14.3 points per game 5 rebounds per game 2.3 assists per game

Rees has a developed offensive skillset, with good ball handling ability, the ability to attack/score at the rim, and shooting range that extends to the 3-point line. Rees also possesses great intangibles, as he is a tough player with a high basketball IQ who plays the game the right way. His skillset and mentality make him a winning player who can positively impact any team.

PROSPECTS ON THE RISE

Leroy Wood

Height: 6’2”

Class: 2027

School: Perry

Wood averaged: 15.8 points per game 4.8 rebounds per game 2.3 3pt made per game

Leroy’s size, frame skillset and aggressive mentality stood out when he played. He was scoring from everywhere on the floor, and shooting range that extends past the 3-point line. He also played both ends of the floor, bringing energy and toughness defensively. As Leroy’s handle continues to develop, his game can go to the next level. 

Tyree Winston

Height: 6’1”

Class: 2025

School: AZ Compass Prep

Winston averaged: 19.5 points per game 5 rebounds per game 2.5 3pt made per game

Tyree is a high level basketball player. Offensively, he has a polished skillset with the ability to score on all 3 levels while also having the court vision and passing ability to get his teammates quality looks. Tyree is a legitimate two-way player, as he is a high caliber on ball and help side defender with elite rebounding ability for a player his size. Overall, Tyree combines an impressive skill set with a winning basketball mentality.
