Camp Standouts From BILJAAC 2021

For over two years, the team at Elite Basketball Circuit in partnership with Open Gym Premier and Grassroots 365 had been preparing for the 2021 installation of the Ballislife Junior All-American Camp. With over 500 players in attendance ranging from 2nd-8th Grade, elite players from across the United States gathered to compete in a range of competitions from All-Star Games to King of the Court. Over the weekend, a few players stood out above the rest earning themselves a title as the MVP. Interested to see who’s next up? Follow along below!

Solomon Bailey– Class of 2025

Evaluation: Solomon is a complete and elite level player. He excels on both sides of the ball, getting you a bucket and a stop whenever it’s needed. He also has a level of unselfishness which allows him to make plays for his open teammates.

Strengths:

  • Finishing
  • Playmaking
  • Rebounding

Improvement Areas:

  • Mid-Range

Brandon McCoy Jr– Class of 2026

Evaluation: Brandon is an elite level talent in this camp. He can shoot lights out from the NBA line and finish with the best of them inside the paint. A total offensive threat who can also use his length on defense.

Strengths:

  • Ball Handling
  • Court Vision
  • 3 Pt. Shooting

Improvement Areas:

  • Passing

Carter Barnes– Class of 2027

Evaluation:Elite level player who can get whatever he wants on the offensive side of the floor. Carter is someone the defense needs to be aware of at all times due to his shot making ability.

  • Mid-Range
  • 3 Pt. Shooting

Improvement Areas:

  • Help Defense

Jakyi Miles– Class of 2028

Evaluation:Jakyi is an athletic big who does lots of things very well. He has great footwork and speed for his size and can easily beat his defenders down the court. He also has a soft touch when finishing around the rim.

  • Finishing
  • Rebounding
  • Ball-handling

Improvement Areas:

  • 3 Pt Shooting

William Conroy– Class of 2029

Evaluation: William has a stellar crossover and always makes plays for his team by finding the open player. He uses is speed and quick first step to get past defenders.

Strengths:

  • On-Ball Defense
  • Speed/Quickness
  • Finishing

Improvement Areas:

  • Rebounding
  • Slashing

Kingston Tanner- Class of 2030

Evaluation: Good ball-handler who excels at finishing at the rim and finishing through contact on offense. Kingston can also pressure the ball on defense and force a turnover.

Strengths:

  • Ball Handling
  • Playmaking
  • Hustle

Improvement Areas:

  • Finishing
  • On Ball Defense
